In Search of Space ( + 3 bonus tracks)

In Search of Space embodies much of what I consider to be 'classic Hawkwind'; heavy guitar riffs, wooshing electronic effects, squawking saxophone solos and science-fiction influenced lyrics.  The album also includes a couple of personal favourites including Master of the Universe which has been included within the bands live set many times in recent years, and the acoustic driven We Took the Wrong Step Years Ago which is perhaps a nod towards Dave Brock's busking routes.  This 2001 remaster also includes three excellent bonus tracks, Seven By Seven, Silver Machine and Born To Go as well as a fantastic album booklet.
