Another Ken Hensley's solo effort in a relatively short space of time, keeping in mind he was 18 years without releasing an album, this 2002 'Running blind', sequel to his 1999 comeback 'A glimpse of glory'.
The CD contains everything that's expected from the good old Ken: quality Hard Rock tunes dyed with dreamy melodies, more acoustic or pensive moments, and some visit to his past, as solo artist or -not this time around- as the Uriah Heep heart and soul, that he was.
Besides the beautiful inception 'Overture: La tristeza secreta de un corazón gitano (Pt. 1) / Prelude: A Minor life', we have in 'Out of my control', 'It's up to you', 'Free spirit / Movin' in', 'The final solution', 'Let me be me' and 'I don't wanna wait' the best tunes of this CD filled to the brim (75 min. of running time). Very good album, which knows how to emit its essentials after a while, not immediately, like a mysterious perfume, I almost sin saying like a mysterious woman, or girl.
