More info
Well, all these long lost gems from the psychedelic era can't all be winners, and this one isn't. In fact, it's a stone cold stinker. They sound like a wedding band circa 1970 as they mix and match from popular sounds at the time (mostly blues based hard rock and blue eyed soul) and come up with a lump of uninspired trend mongering. They're actually decent musicians, the guitar work is nice and the singer has a powerful voice, but their song writing and overall direction is woefully hackneyed.
(note: This is an entirely different outfit than the also British progressive rock band Camel of Pete Bardens fame that would form a few years later.)
